How I Sense Energetic Information

A first-person account of learning to notice sensations, questions, and inner images—and how I keep interpretation separate from certainty.

Starting with small questions

After my own turning point, I began with self-interpretation and self-testing: simple yes-or-no questions, divination, and forms of kinesiology or muscle testing. At first, I was mostly asking about myself—what I was feeling, what seemed to be affecting me, and whether a small change made a difference.

I learned from different teachers and built my practice gradually. The early discipline was not about having dramatic answers. It was about asking a small question, noticing what happened, and being honest about what I did and did not know.

Learning to notice a sensation

One early experience I use to explain this happened in a sauna. I noticed a stomach sensation, associated it with the woman nearby, and asked her about it. She confirmed that she was experiencing a stomach problem. I took that as a personal lesson in noticing a sensation and then checking it, rather than assuming I already understood its source.

Experiences like that led me to pay closer attention to the difference between what I considered my own sensations and what I interpreted as information from around me. That distinction is personal and fallible; a feeling can have many explanations.

Pictures in the mind

When I interact with something I am considering, I may immediately see a picture or vision in my mind. If I picture a teddy bear, for example, it may appear wearing a hat, gloves, and boots, looking frazzled or burnt, with pins, toothpicks, or other details around it. The image can feel specific even though it is an inner image.

These pictures are part of how I experience my work. I do not treat an image as a photograph or as proof that a literal object exists in someone’s body, home, or life. It is an impression that needs humility and context.

Keeping interpretation separate from certainty

I can use questions, re-checking, conversation, and practical observation to slow the process down. A result that feels clear to me can still be misunderstood. Readers may find spiritual language useful, prefer another explanation, or hold both possibilities open.

The point of describing my method is not to ask everyone to sense things in the same way. It is to make the personal nature of the experience visible, including its limits.
